Business Analyst

SUMMARY

The Hearts On Fire Information Technology department provides solutions to all facets of Hearts On Fire business: internal departments, the wholesale and retail channels, and all HOF affiliates both domestic and international. The Business Analyst is responsible for providing employee training on the business ERP system, Dynamics AX, as well as training for Office 365 applications and automated process tools. Based on working with the user community, the Business Analyst will help gather user requirements and feedback on future automation and system enhancement possibilities. This role will also provide first level help desk support as appropriate and assist in the QC of custom development automations made for the business systems. Additionally, the Business Analyst is expected to be multifaceted and perform different IT tasks as demanded by the business.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Train employees on the company's ERP application, Microsoft Dynamics AX; general topics as well as business function specific

·        Create and update user how-to documentation for Dynamics AX

·       Train and document Office 365 tools and business best practices for their use; includes SharePoint, OneDrive, Flow, Forms, Power BI, Power Apps

·        Assist with user requirement gathering

·        First level help desk support tickets related to business systems

·        Perform UAT, QC testing of new customizations to business systems

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

·        Minimum 2 years IT training and support experience

·        Excellent presentation skills

·        Excellent oral and written communication skills

·        Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or a similar corporate wide ERP system

·       Office 365 experience, especially with SharePoint, Forms, Power BI, and Power Apps

·        Experience managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines

·        Proven strong project and tasks management skills

·        Experience working well independently as well as in a collaborative team environment

·        Great customer service attitude
