Manager Of Learning & Development and LMS Administration

SUMMARY

The Learning & Development Manager assists with the development, logistics, and delivery of training programs, courses and events across the Hearts On Fire organization.

In early 2017, Hearts On Fire launched the industry’s first e-learning platform, designed to provide real time training content to the hundreds of sales associates across the globe who sell the Hearts On Fire product line.

This hands-on, individual contributor program management role will be critical to continually optimizing the Learning Management System (LMS) platform experience, and the successful candidate will bring LMS expertise to the role. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

·Maintain content on Hearts On Fire’s LMS, assisting with production and editing of new content for e-learning

·Coordinate and run webinars

·Identify training industry best practices and technology opportunities to ensure our L&D program is best in class

·Work with retailers and the HOF sales team to identify training needs, communicate strategy, and assist in problem resolution

·Produce materials used in the classroom and electronic materials for online training programs

·Develop testing strategy and program implementation for training participants

·Provide analysis and program optimization recommendations for all training programs, including via e-learning platform

·Provide ongoing reporting of key metrics for trainers and trainings

·Manage scheduling, registration and logistics of Hearts On Fire Academy (2x per year). Builds event registration sites on CVENT platform and manages attendee registration and communications. 

·Support trainers in the field and troubleshoot retail training issues.

·Responsible for budget management and billing for L&D department

·Manage all aspects of vendor relationships

·Manage internal communications about all aspects of learning services and external marketing regarding the sale of training programs

·Manage the Training Calendar and tracking of all trainings and events

·Other duties and projects as assigned 


QUALIFICATIONS

·Minimum four years of experience in learning and development, including Learning Management System (LMS) experience and instructional design.

·Minimum two years of experience in course development

·Extensive project management experience

·Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, intercompany Customer Relationship Management systems, Learning Management Systems, and e-learning authoring tools

·Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, organization development, or training-related field

·Experience working within a fast-paced team

·Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills

·Self-starter who takes initiative and can prioritize and multi-task effectively

·High customer service orientation and problem-solving capabilities

·Ability to maintain high level of discretion and exercise independent judgment

·Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and retailers

·This job requires on occasion weekend and evening work and overnight travel (5%)
