The Social Media Manager is responsible for growing and promoting the Hearts On Fire brand with consumers worldwide via content development, digital influencer relationships and social media communication, while effectively communicating out the performance. The manager is a critical member of the team and highly skilled in content creation for all consumer facing platforms, specifically creating content that best promotes the HOF brand, its publicity achievements and products. This role has significant relationship and project management responsibilities. This role has a mix of creative and analytical thinking and the candidate should be able to communicate the social media story through data. The candidate should have an “always be optimizing” approach. Additionally, the social media manager will work closely with the Director of Public Relations and Brand Communications to amplify key partnerships and aggressively grow social audiences.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborates with Director to develop high level strategy for organic social media communications

• Executes all communication and content across social media platforms

• Develops the rules of engagement for each social platform (tone of voice, CTAs, scheduling, etc)

• Ability to clearly articulate performance of channels and individual posts

• Manages to social media budget and provides reporting analysis, including management of partner relationships and social media advertising

• Develops annual content calendar and determines content strategy for the HOF brand across multiple channels

• Develops and manages the creation of new Hearts On Fire content including but not limited to PR exposure, social media communities, and industry events

• Serves as in-house expert for all things social media and outbound content, including sharing trends and best practices with team and makes strategic recommendations

• Continuously tests, learns and optimizes approach as needed

• Cultivates and grows relationships with digital influencers and social vendors

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5-7 years’ relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Communications or related field

• Knowledge of social media communities, Google Analytics, Facebook Exchange and Account Manager, Spredfast (or equivalent social media listening/analysis program)

• Proven expertise growing social communities and highly knowledgeable to best practices

• Social Media expertise (specifically brand management) including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, Pinterest, and more

• Understanding of target audience for social media and digital channels

• Strong verbal and written communications skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of applications

• Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently

• Positive contributing member of the team with can-do attitude and supportive spirt

• Ability to set and balance multiple priorities, solve problems, and be resourceful under pressure

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and customers

• High level of professionalism and willingness to approach work with a sense of urgency
